Though the game is a part of the Tomb Raider series but it is not the part of the brand. Instead it has been released as a fresh start out of the Lara Croft. Tomb Raider Trilogy is already an end and a new beginning was needed for the amazingly brilliant character and hence the Lara Croft and the Gaurdian of Light. The plot has been set in the Central America instead of Los Angeles which was originally chosen as a plot location. Tomb Raider 9 is also under development and will be released soon without Lara Croft and the Gaurdian of Light effecting it's development. Soundtracks included in the game has been recycled from the earlier games: Legend, Anniversary and Underworld. No official release has been made. The main characters of the game are Lara Croft and totec. The antagonist is Xolotl with which Lara Croft must fight to destroy his miniacs.
