In Kelly Slater s Pro Surfer, players experience an all-out adrenaline rush as they drop down huge wave faces, pull into barreling tube rides and pull off hundreds of massive trick combinations and signature pro moves. Players choose their own path as they interact with famous surfers, sponsors, magazines and photographers. Exotic real world locations and events including full beach environments with real landmarks and hazards lend authenticity to the game. Multiple modes of play let gamers choose from Career Mode, Free Surf and multiplayer games and each mode unlocks new riders, boards, events, videos and secret breaks. Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer features ultra-realistic ocean conditions including barrels and tubes, and is the only surfing game to have populated waves, where gamers can ride alongside other surfers.Players can also use the Record Book feature to track individual rider stats and world records set throughout the game.

Aquanox 2 reminded me of the Mechwarrior games. You're essentially in a legless 'mech, submerged underwater.
The premise of Aquanox 2 is the same as Aquanox: because of the destruction of earth's atmosphere, people cannot live on the surface anymore. Thus, mankind lives life on the bottom of Terra's oceans. Experience new kinds of cultures, technologies and lifestyles.
The storyline is rich, mysterious and with twists here and there, driven forward elegantly by your missions and especially by the dialogues with the characters in the game. As you progress through the game, your mission, your destiny becomes clearer. Everything is revealed precisely at the right time.
I especially liked the dialogues, characters and the interface. You can really see how everyone's perceptions and personality changes as the game progresses. Based on experience and interaction the characters mature, grow on each other, become comrades.
As the game begins, you're a young and naive newbie, drifting the oceans by yourself in a huge submarine inherited from your rich parents that passed away not long ago. The sub has been hijacked and you unwillingly become the crewmember of what at first seems a cold and unfriendly bunch of pirates. Later on however, you come to cherish their presence.
The game dynamics and graphics are great. You can really feel you're under the ocean and the experience doesn't seem artificial.
Pick this title up, it's well worth playing. The storyline, action and overal feeling kept me playing with great interest until I finished it. The ending is pretty conclusive and rewarding. Few games do that.
Please note that Aquanox 2 is single-player only.

What is The Sims Life Stories?

The Sims Life Stories is the first release in an all-new PC product line called The Sims Stories. All releases in The Sims Stories line offer two fun ways to play, directed Story mode and open-ended Classic mode, and are designed with laptop-friendly controls that let you play even when you’re on the go!

In The Sims Life Stories, play through Riley’s life story as she returns home to start a new life with new friends, new experiences, and unexpected surprises. A second story lets you sort out the love life of Vince, a love-struck high-tech whiz who’s been unlucky in love so far.

Also available in The Sims Stories Line: The Sims Pet Stories challenges your Sims to care for and train loveable but unpredictable pets, while The Sims Castaway Stories helps your Sims make a new life in an unexplored island paradise.

How is this game different from The Sims or The Sims 2?

The big difference is the addition of the new directed Story mode, laptop friendly system specs, and the ability to play the game in a separate window while using your own IM and email to stay connected with friends.

The Sims Stories games are standalone games and do not support expansion packs or stuff packs from The Sims or The Sims 2 collections.

What is directed Story mode?

The new directed Story mode allows you to easily take your Sims through a unique and entertaining storyline full of romance and dramatic twists. You even unlock cool rewards along the way as you achieve set goals.

In The Sims Life Stories, you can choose to play through two different stories. Start off by playing through Riley’s life story as she returns home to start a new life with new friends, new experiences, and unexpected surprises. A second story lets you sort out the love life of Vince, a love-struck high-tech whiz who’s been unlucky in love so far. After you’ve completed all the story goals you can continue the drama in open-ended Classic mode.
