The hero of the adventure is Ken Ogawa, leader of a squadron of cyborg ninja, who embarks on a risky mission for buildings in Tokyo - with maps reproducing real locations - to destroy a horde of mutants that can infect the entire population. During the operation, however, Ogawa became the victim of an intricate conspiracy set up by his own father and loses all his men on the battlefield. Moved by the desire to discover the real reasons behind the betrayal, the warrior ninja part in a solitary journey of revenge by the city's underworld.

Of course, as good ninja, Ogawa has several weapons and devices. The killer is able to fight using two swords, throw grenades and have a hook to reach areas of difficult access, and many surprises. His repertoire also includes special moves like Todoma and Ninjutsu, can electrocute enemies or pull their hearts, for a quick death and no major complications.

Darkfall Online

The combat system of Darkfall is completely different from all other MMOs that I've tried, and similar to that of FPS games. Instead of selecting a target and using various skills strategically, here you have to aim your attacks, predict your enemy's moves, and evade their strikes. I am not saying that Darkfall doesn't have a lot of skills to choose from, but right now most people only use simple melee attacks. The strategy involves trying to hit your opponent in the back and pelt him with Mana Missiles or arrows if he tries to run away. If you are the one doing the running, make sure you're not going in a straight line because if you do, you'll become a perfect target for your enemies' projectiles. Chases, by the way, take the longest time since everyone has a lot of stamina and can run/sprint around for minutes. Overall, the combat gives you a lot of freedom and is very different from other MMOs; FPS gamers will surely find a good application for their skills in Darkfall.

The full loot PvP ruleset adds a lot of excitement and sense of danger to the game. It also adds a lot of annoyance sometimes and naked people ganking everyone and some spawnpoints. I haven't ever played UO and the other MMORPG that I'm subscribed to - Age of Conan - has a pretty much non-existand death penalty, so this is all new for me. I rather like it so far: it never made much sense to me when in AoC the death penalty was so light that people used to kill themselves as means of transport.

There are a lot of skills, including ones like Running, Swimming, or even Resting. The system definitely reminds me of Morrowind, and it's a lot of fun to get "skill ups" no matter what action you take. Combat skills are harder to level up though, and might take a long while to master since the higher you get, the slower you learn.

The world is huge and seamless, except for a little HDD trashing at the beginning of each invisible "zone" (might be just my 1 GB of RAM though). Regrettably, it also feels very empty. Don't get me wrong: it is very detailed and full of landmarks such as mountains, rivers, meadows, trees (some giant ones), lakes, lava fields, and so on. However, there are very little mobs around (they're concentrated in a few small camps), the world is so big that the few thousands of players who bought the game aren't enough to fill it (run from Alfar to Mirdain starting town for 30 minutes and you'll likely meet no one), and finally, there are precious few NPCs. Only the starting and the main towns have NPCs in them; while exploring, I've come across many very nice and detailed looking towns, which were completely devoid of life. I do hope this only means that Aventurine hadn't had the time to populate them with NPCs, and not that the server wouldn't handle the load of they did.

World of Zoo is a family-friendly game that opens the gates for gamers to freely roam their zoo in ways they have only imagined. With more than 90 different animals spanning 11 families to care for, players will have ample opportunities to engage with all types of species. Sunny Blonde is best described as a pampered brat. She is the 17 year old daughter of rich parents and is more concerned with her make-up than with anything else. When she is forced by her parents to take part in a cruise through the Bermuda Triangle, the ship enters a storm and Sunny falls off the ship. A few hours later she wakes up on the Forgotten Island. What at first glance looks like the most realistic vacation resort ever, Sunny slowly realizes that the pirates and everything else is real. Because of a mysterious curse, the island is damned to eternal isolation. So since Sunny can't get her mobile phone to work, she begins to explore the island, help its citizens and will perhaps end the curse.

The game is a classic Point & Click Adventure. Picking up items, talking to people in multiple-choice dialogues and solving riddles by combining the retrieved items or use them to interact with the environment. In addition to that, the game also features several mini-games which the player can choose to ignore if he doesn't want to do them. During the course of the game, the player will not only control Sunny Blonde but two other characters as well. The story, which is told with comic-like cutscenes, also features multiple endings.

Take on the role of Benjamin Parker, a cartographer, who has been commissioned to map the treacherous shores and waters of Trewarthen, England. Over the centuries, many ships and fishing vessels have gone down there, claiming countless lives beneath the Fetch Rock Lighthouse. It is hoped that his maps will help navigation through the fog in that area. Upon arriving, Parker is given little to go on by his employer except that the light from the lighthouse has suddenly gone out without explanation and he should go investigate. Why him? Why now .. in the middle of the night? Making his way to the dark Fetch Rock Lighthouse, he soon discovers that the 3 lighthouse keepers have disappeared without a trace! Sifting through information left behind, Parker finds evidence of another presence - something (or someone) else is here! Is the lighthouse haunted? What happened to the three men? Why did the lights go out? And, what is the real reason he was asked to come here? To find those answers, Parker will be mystically transported to different periods in the lighthouse's time-line.
