I of the Dragon is an action RPG with a couple of things in its favor. Instead of letting you play as the typical barbarian or mage, this fantasy game lets you take to the skies as a dragon. It also requires you to do some tactical thinking instead of relying solely on brute force. Beyond that, it’s generic fare marred by numbing missions and repetitive combat, not to mention a wholly forgettable gameworld. I of the Dragon isn’t actually a bad game, just a strikingly unimaginative one. In short bursts it can be fun, but over the long haul it becomes a real snoozer.

The game serves up a disposable story. Once upon a time, a generic fantasy world was beset by evil monsters. Humans and their dragon allies managed to destroy the wicked monsters infesting the land and banish their Sauron-style leader. After their victory, some shortsighted humans suspiciously turned on the dragons and drove them away, too. Naturally, the great evil of former times returns, and suddenly a dragon–that would be you–is needed to fight the forces of darkness.

Dynasty Warriors 4 is a videogame developed by Omega Force and published by KOEI Co. Ltd. The game was released for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony, the original Xbox console from Microsoft and the PC in February 2003. The title is classed as an action adventure game played from a third person perspective with a lot of influence taken from history and some light fantasy elements.

Dynasty Warriors 4 is another videogame in the long running series based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms epic. Again, the player can take control of one general in a troubled period in the history of China. As the Han dynasty crumbles to the ground, a new force needs to rule the land and one cunning general needs to rise up and defeat his rivals to become the new king. There are a lot of historical facts weaved through the game, which the player can discover while challenging a variety of rivals.

The fourth iteration in the series introduces a whole new combat engine, completely revamped and able to allow for more complex fights that feature a wider array of enemies. In addition to the combat itself, gamers will be able to develop the character that they play and also interact with a variety of allies that often need their help. Most reviewers praised the PlayStation 2 version of Dynasty Warriors 4 while offering limited praise for the other platform ports.

It is a sequel to Glove on Fight, but uses an updated engine and a completely original cast

The spiritual successor to Glove on Fight, which has the best opening movie of any game ever, and boy howdy has it ever been upgraded.

Graphics look better, the engine is far more transparent (though the Engrish is hilarious “Back

stub” indeed), the character movesets are vastly expanded, and theres a far greater variety in the fighting styles. While it is a lot of fun to button mash, counter attacks and parries are where the vast majority of your damage is going to come from, so slamming the keyboard like an epileptic ape will only get you so far. Of course, if you miss a parry, then it counts as a counter for the enemy, and if you think you can just turtle, many characters have a throw that can break guards and everybody can guardbreak by entering the “infight” mode, done only when an opponent is guarding that instantly drops the guard (though you can just put it right back up) and gives the character a speed boost for a few seconds to pummel the crap out of the turtler. Its not that complicated though, there are only three buttons, light attack, strong attack, and defense. Most commands are your normal fighting game motions and/or double taps. Most characters cant even jump

The Temple of Elemental Evil is a single-player-only adventure with a straightforward premise that’s mostly an excuse to put you through a lengthy, diverse dungeon crawl. This isn’t an epic-scale adventure–most of the game takes place in the titular temple (though, at the beginning, you explore the countryside until you find it), though the temple is a sufficiently huge, multistory affair. Initially, you create a party of up to five characters (or you may choose from pregenerated characters), who begin as neophyte first-level adventurers and can eventually grow to 10th level, which isn’t as high up there as some other recent D&D games have allowed you to get. Make no mistake, this is no flaw–Dungeons & Dragons is probably most well balanced, tense, and exciting at the earlier levels, so this game’s focus on relatively low-level adventuring leads to many nail-biting battles in which you must take great care to keep yourparty out of harm’s way as best you can. Indeed, starting out, your party is vulnerable even to common thugs, though later on, you’ll start to feel quite powerful as your fighters gain multiple attacks per round, your healers become much more useful, and your mages learn to cast damaging area-of-effect spells.

Overall, the game is great. It features a map inspired by the ice roads of Season Two of Ice Road Truckers (the Tuktoyaktuk road), the infamous "Road of Death" of South America, and the Aussie Outback. All three maps have unique loads and trucks for the areas (Outback has road trains of 4+ trailers, Yungas has short canvas-covered trucks, and the ice roads have massive loads such as mining equipment, supplies, and everything in between.
However, you cannot own your own truck in this game (as you could in previous releases in the 18 Wheels of Steel series), nor is there a career mode where you earn money and pay for fuel, repairs, and newer trucks/upgrades. What you do have is a point-based mission system, where each map unlocks after you earn enough points. You start in the Ice Roads, then work your way to the Outback, then to the Yungas road. Unlocking all three maps takes around 4 hours total, and that's just going until you have them unlocked. Replaying each map, you could spend weeks until you attain the highest level in all three maps.
The other drawbacks are a lack of a police-type system (speeding tickets, wreckless driving), lack of realism (fatigue). And perhaps the most glaring issue; although the cover depicts a truck falling through the ice, I have yet to experience it in-game. I am sure it's there, but I haven't managed to yet.
