In East India Company, players will enjoy building the World's most powerful trading empire and engaging in fierce battles in both single player and multiplayer modes, all within a breathtaking cinematic environment. Players will fight, manage and rule their trading empires from Europe to the Far East with eight nationalities to choose from: British, Dutch, French, Danish, Portuguese, Swedish, Italian or Spanish. Starting modestly, you will build your fleet, establish connections to far away countries, and keep rival nations at bay. Choose from a wide array of ship classes, including a variety of transport and military vessels. Create diverse fleets and assign each of them specific trading routes. Control and upgrade well situated ports as you form your strategy for domination. Conflicts and wars are inevitable. When hostile fleets engage each other, the spectacular naval battles are fought on a real-time tactical level. Devastating broadsides are fired with a deafening roar and cannon balls tear through enemy ships and their crew. For greater tactical depth, you can, at any point, take direct command of any of your ships and feel the battle close up! Limited map (It's really just coastal Africa, Middle-East and India, and while the game styles itself a "sandbox" experience, you essentially just go back and forth between your home port and a few trade ports, in a very narrow strip of water and no sailing off the borders) Poor UI: Lots of drag-and-drop, annoying battle camera mishaps and the feeling that nothing is quite as ergonomically designed as it could be (dragging and dropping 20 stacks of trade units every minute or so really wears you out, and the auto-trade system crushes your economy) Titchy "economy": One big shipment of silk/spice/etc will destroy your market for that product for decades, so you have to micromanage your sales, making the game more tedious than it needs to be.

James Cameron has delivered some movies of monstrous proportions. Titanic, Aliens and The Terminator have all come to us courtesy of the Canadian filmmaker. This December sees the release of the long-awaited Avatar, a movie about an alien moon called Pandora and the battle over its riches. Cameron's last movie, Titanic, set all sorts of box office records. That puts the expectations for Avatar at near impossible levels and naturally paves the way for a videogame adaptation. It's a game that I had high hopes for and though it does its best to play to the movie's strengths -- featuring a lush jungle world and 3D visuals – Avatar: The Game ultimately suffers from unpolished and thin gameplay elements.
Avatar: The Game takes place on the same moon as its movie counterpart but rather than retelling Cameron's tale, it offers a prequel story and an introduction to Pandora's past. The reason for all of the commotion? Pandora is the only known place to harvest unobtanium, a mineral worth whatever it takes to get it. Unfortunately, Pandora has a toxic atmosphere and is the home to some hostile locals, including giant carnivorous plants and the Na'vi, an alien race that stands roughly 10 feet tall. The RDA, a military for hire, has countered with Avatars, a genetic hybrid between humans and Na'vi. And so the war begins in earnest.

Best Racing Pc Game of All Time. I'm having so much fun vith this game right now! The controls are tight and the races are exciting thanks to a pretty great Directx 11 physics engine. The vehicles feel heavy & responsive, yet u must always focus on vhat kind of terrain you're on & the geography of the track, or else you'll easily spin_right off the path. I do agree vith the complaint that there should_have been more pure rally races, but it's one of only a handful of small annoyances, vhich are all ultimately overshadowed by the truly_spectacular graphics, stylish & inspired interface, and great soundtrack. Also, the Flashback feature is vell-implemented and makes playing the game 4 long stretches even more fun, because you don't have to always restart a race if you lose focus for a second.
