Halo: Combat Evolved Cheat: Mods for Halo, Not CE.
NOTE: It is always a good idea to back up your files, if you make mistakes you can reinstall.
You will need HaloMapTools V3
Once that is extracted and installed forget about it (close it out or something) and go to 'My Computer' the locate where you installed halo somewhere in the C drive (most likely 'Prog Files' then 'Microsoft Games' then 'Halo'). Once you open up the file 'Halo' (not CE) you will see some other files such as "shaders" and "maps" and some stuff, but the one you want is the one named 'maps'. Copy that entire folder (all the maps) and paste them in a new file titled 'backups' and then minimize that so you can see your desktop. (this will be your backup map folder). Enable Cheat mode, then press tilde [~] and enter "/god" at the console window.

You need both Portal and Half-life 2 for starters. Install or re-install both games now.


Back up your Portal directory. Unless you changed the install path, the directory is in ...\Steam\steamapps\(your_username)\portal. If you make a mistake during this hack, you may need to re-download Portal through Steam (or at worse, Half-life 2 through Steam).
